Upcoming Trip to Moss Mountain, P Allen Smith's Farm

 

I am planning a road trip to Little Rock, Ark. to see Moss Mountain.

 

 

 

Moss Mountain is the spectacular 650 acre working farm of P Allen Smith.

In the last couple years I have followed his PBS - Create TV shows and

I find them so down to earth and inviting.http://www.pallensmith.com/

 

 

Why not I say, so I am packing my dog up and we are taking a road trip.

 

I will be attending his Thanksgiving fall tour of the farm, animals, garden and home.

 

 

His farm has many aspects to the area anart studio, design studio and much more. 
 



 

His produce is the rage in town and he sells to local restaurants in Little Rock and is also proud of his

extensive poultry and egg production. 



I just love fall and Thanksgiving is such a special time, it's our last chance for orange before the holiday season get hectic with gold, white, silver and red.

 

 



 

We are treated to lunch at the farm after we enjoy the tour of the farm,

gardens, orchards and his animals.

I just know Allen will be in the kitchen preparing mine.

Oh well a gal can dream.



 



 

My buddy, Jake, and I have never taken a road trip but I found the most divine B & B, Rosemont Inn,

that is  pet friendly and there's lots of walking, parks and gardens close by.  .

 

 

I know we will enjoy lounging in her lovely garden, peaceful is my mission.
