Summer Trip to Serenbe With Dear Friends

 This summer my friends and I were invited to Serenbe, by our best buddy Toni Rueter.  https://serenbefarms.com/ to enjoy a beautiful setting, wonderful food, great plays and lots of outing's.

My first time visit to Tyron, Ga. took us to Circa Vintage Market and Antiques

Is this cute or what?  Coffee Bar, every gal's dream.

Our early morning began with a light breakfast at Circa's Coffee Shop.

 

The staff won us over with their warm personalities and steamy hot coffee, a fun  unexpected surprise.  The coffee shop is bustling with warm personality and clever decorating.

 

 

This was a first for us all four but it's near and deer to us.  Deer heads beautifully painted with leaves and nature.

The coffee shop is packed full of great gifts and handcrafted delights to embellish your home or your favorite outfit.

Natural flowers tucked in the cuties containers, the unexpected is everywhere.

Say Goodbye to Summer and Farewell to Fairies - Until Next Year

Today is the last day of summer, all my fairy goodies are being packed up. Before bringing out fall I wanted to share a few photos of recent celebration. 

This summer I hosted several fairy parties some for the wee folks and some for the young at heart. 

The world of fantasy can be so inviting especially when you entertain children in the spirit of make believe.  

Fairies love lots of everything, anything shiny that sparkles and glitters are their favorites.  I have found most young or old alike loves the sparkle.

 

When it comes to entertaining and decorating for fairies all rules are broken, More is Better. 

 

 

 

 

From Mushrooms hanging from the chandelier to jewels and

 treasures tucked here and there, lots of eye candy, to put a smile on all curious faces.

 

 

 

Once the decorations are up there is always time for kids to pop in. 

The great thing is the dollar store can come to your rescue,

decorate with their photos and wings and all is wonderful.

Fun Times With Fun Friends in Fun Places

My friends and I love to look for any excuse to spend a few days in Birmingham and visit our favorite shop White Flowers Gallery http://www.whiteflowers.com/ in Homewood.

When I say everything is white, calming and ethereal I mean everything.  It's a lovely place to visit and you don't want to leave.

The owner, Diana, has the best taste in her selections that she carries.  There is always something delicious to discover, treasurers that you may never see again.

Everything is white or shades of white, gray and cream.  Blissfully White. 

 

You want to leave with one of everything.....but you can't, although you can dream.

Green is the Color for Spring in the South

Our spring has been beautiful here in the south.
I hope you're enjoying lovely weather or at least you know you will be soon.

Spring is such a beautiful time to rejuvenate, recharge our inspiration.

Herbs are always my favorite and naturally they are thriving.

A long weekend awaits us here and I see gardening in the forecast.  There is something magically about digging in the grown and seeing everything grow.

I feel so blessed to be able to still work in my garden.
