Mr. and Mrs. Casey Rowell and Cayden

If you have never order flowers from Sam's  - try it you will love it.
Good bulk prices, overnight shipping and very fresh.

Ashley wanted peonies but with them out of season that was next to
impossible but I did find from Fifty Flowers.com
a Peony Rose that was delightfully full and round.

AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER

Now for the painful part, paying for it.  This photo should
be reversed Paula, Robert's wife was the
truly the one that made things
happen. She used her
secret ways.

OK - No more post on the wedding, I promise.  I just had to share
this very special occasion of my dear
niece Ashley..

The End

Now Let's Party

The Magnolia Manor was the charming historic setting for this wonderful southern wedding.

The guest tables were accented with silver tea pots filled with flowers
along with white ironstone tea pots.

Time to Celebrate!

Ashley's new son Cayden is the frosting on the cake and makes three in this happy new family.

Now Let's Party

The First Look -

Ashley looks just lovely but butterflies are making her nervous

anticipating the first time her true love sees her.

Taking in that wonderful breath of fresh air.

Anticipation
Waiting

Go To Him

She enters the room were her true love is and softly goes towards him.

He is thinking how can any man be this happy for he is  marrying

this perfect woman whom his heart loves deeply.

Their first look and then the kiss.

Two hearts will soon be one.

This romance story continues. Now lets get this wedding on.

#1 THE CAKE AND WHAT A CAKE IT WAS

OK the wedding is over and now it's photo time.

Yes, I am now a believer that the Cake is so very important.

My niece Ashley Morgan recently wed Casey Rowell at the Magnolia Manor House
in Mobile.  The night could not have been more perfect.

The Flour Girls Bakery on Hillcrest created her cake and
I embellished it with lovely flowers and pearl initials

Sitting on top of an exquisite antique cloth, borrowed from my
close friend Russie, the scene couldn't have been any lovelier.

I have had so many tasteless cakes at weddings so I just couldn't get excited
about it except to make it look lovely.  What a nice surprise this beauty was a winner.
The cake tasted divine, full of
flavor and very moist and the icing was to die for.
Flour Girls Bakers - GREAT JOB!

Alicia Marie the Photographer captured the vignette perfectly.
She was able to blend two tables and in the background insAshley's
Grandmother Nana's wedding photo for 1943.

What a big difference from my phone  photo.   Where the heck the color?

Thank you Alicia Marie!
A good camera, great filters and flashes to capture the perfect light along with the
perfect photographer .......there is no comparison.

Thank goodness for professionals.

I was so happy Ashley asked me (Aunt Sissy) to do the flowers and to decorate the venue.....
get ready, this is only the first of many.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

Sleepy Hollow is always a Halloween favorite and so many to choose from.

"The dominant spirit, however, that haunts this enchanted region, and seems to be commander-in-chief of all the powers of the air, is the apparition of a figure on horseback, without a head."
 W. Irving

Now there is a new Sleepy Hollow, TV's new series and it is well worth the hour on Mondays.

"It is said by some to be the ghost of a Hessian trooper, whose head had been carried away by a cannon-ball, in some nameless battle during the Revolutionary War, and who is ever and anon seen by the country folk hurrying along in the gloom of night, as if on the wings of the wind. "  WI

 Ichabod Crane

"His haunts are not confined to the valley, but extend at times to the adjacent roads, and especially to the vicinity of a church at no great distance ... the body of the trooper having been buried in the churchyard, the ghost rides forth to the scene of battle in nightly quest of his head, and that the rushing speed with which he sometimes passes along the Hollow, like a midnight blast, is owing to his being belated, and in a hurry to get back to the churchyard before daybreak."
—Washington Irving, "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow"

This great guy graces  yard haunt on Mordecai St.  I imagine he is from Grandinroad and is wonderful.
