CAN YOU SUFFER FROM SELLERS REMORSE?

I know first hand what Buyers Remorse is - and I do believe I am feeling

the same with Sellers Remorse.  IS THERE SUCH A THING?

BETTER YET, AM I CRAZY OR IS THIS NORMAL?

I have been busy parting with treasures I have had for decades trying to fill my booth

and fit more comfortably in my tiny cottage.

I recently painted my living room, gray with yellow accents.

So why the heck am I parting with this great yellow truck?

This wonderful tiny primitive mantel is in the best yellow mustard.

I know I have a mantel in the living room but this one is so darn cute.

Ok, Ok, I know I live in this tiny cottage and don't need them

but I do believe this is sellers remorse.  Oh Well - Move ON!

This wonderful pair of 1800's oil

portraits SOLD - making my

friend Sandy very happy.

She purchased this pair

at The Heart of Country Show

in Nashville a couple of decades ago.

ENJOY AND PASS ON SO SOMEONE ELSE CAN
BE THE KEEPER OF THESE FINE TREASURES.

My new words to live by - or try to live by.

Sounds of JOY

To my surprise I was rewarded by a wonderful treat.

My friend and neighbor , Linda with Coastal Charm                          http://linda-coastalcharm.blogspot.com/2013/08/my-neighborspart-two.html

has mentioned by Tiny Cottage @ Antiques at the Loop on her blog.

She took some great photos of my space, Thank YOU!

What a nice surprise, so I am posting a few of

her photos from her fabulous booth.

Coastal Charm has a prime spot in the front window

and I just love when I ride by at night seeing her lights on.

She and her husband are both so talented and keep very busy.

They repaint a large majority of the items in Coastal Charm

and needless to say everything would go just perfect in my own tiny cottage.

I love this grouping, hang some white platters and my heart

skips a beat.

Thank you Linda, so happy we are friends, neighbors

and partners in crime.

Paper and Glue

Good Morning,
I mention that my niece Ashley was planning a wedding.
I have been working on a wire heart wreath
covered with old text hearts.  I can just see it hanging from all the
antique mirrors in Magnolia Manor.

So I have been practicing and I can't seem to find
a #14 wire, #19 is the largest.  It seems a little weak to hold the form, so I will be playing
with this little problem until I get it just right for her.

The hanger will be a sweet bird, maybe he will bring the love birds messages.

Working on new items for my new antique booth can be challenging,

I am just amazed at all the antique images you can download off Bing.
These images of the Blessed Mother, Mary, are so sweet.

I hope your work table is full of projects that you dearly love,

Enjoy this beautiful day God has made just you us, Kathy
I will be joining Mosaic Monday http://dearlittleredhouse.blogspot.com/

Antiques at the Loop Grand Opening

It finally arrived, August 1st.
Grand Opening, Antiques at the Loop

I was doubting if I would ever, never get my booth finished.
But little by little, load after load, helping hands made it happen.

Grand Opening, Preview Party was Wonderful

Photo: Say hello to our new location- 28 South Florida Street in Mobile. Join us for our grand opening this weekend!

The booth is long, and it seemed even longer when we began.

It is packed full of American antiques and some reproductions.

Some wonderful old painted pieces are tucked here and there to make for
an interesting stop.

How can I have an opening without fresh flowers to greet the guest.

I felt it was a little to early to bring out the orange and black for Halloween.  I have lots, lots and more old
Halloween paper, hats, mask, decoration.  Lots of old lanterns and antique candy containers.
For the opening, I just tucked signs telling of the antiques to come on new skeletons, etc.
It will be fun.

Miss. Sassy greeted everyone.
If you find yourself near Florida Street, pop into the best antique mall in Alabama and the
Gulf Coast.
Congratulations Desiree and Tim Tait!
