  1. We used to live in Scottsdale, and we visited Prescott. Prescott, AZ is one of the most idyllic little towns in America. I can't even begin to imagine the grief there right now. So sad. This is such a lovely post. Thank-you.

  5. This was really a thoughtful post, Kathy. This tragedy has really rocked our entire state and far beyond. The memorial they had this week was incredible, and I hope it helped to start the healing for all those who lost someone.

  6. I live in Prescott so it really hit close to home. What a horrible tragedy. I have had a chance to visit the memorial in front of the hot shots fire station. What an emotional sight. There are purple ribbons tied everywhere and signs thanking our heroes and telling them how much we love them. We should never take for granted the men and women who put their lives on the line for our safety everyday. It going to take some time for us all to start healing. May God bless the victims of the fire and the firemen's families.
